Ioana and Dumitru Gorzo are exhibiting together in Bucharest for the first time from February 29 to April 12.
The exhibition TWO GORZO continues the curatorial program of Arsmonitor, the newest art gallery in the Capital, located in Casa Presei Libere.
Ioana Gorzo and Dumitru Gorzo, whose personalities and works are distinct and radically opposed, present an unexpected confrontation between seemingly figurative painting and overtly expressionist art.
The two artists often collaborate and exhibit in various contexts, both solo and in group shows, including galleries such as Slagg in New York, and various spaces in Romania, such as Carusel/Cărturești in Bucharest, as well as in Reșița, Timișoara, and Bistrița. Recent group exhibitions include the "Dan Popescu Exhibition," highlighting some of their significant projects to date. This time, they have chosen to exhibit within the same show, proposing an unexpected dialogue-confrontation.
