Review on TigerTiger and Radu Pandele

His path in the field has been an organic one, from his activity as a graffiti artist from 2007 through to his work as a muralist, begun in 2015, where alongside Sweet Damage Crew — one of the most visible mural art collectives in Romania — he painted on walls in hospitals, schools, and cities across Romania and Europe. Subsequently, Pandele gained recognition at both national and international level through various solo and group exhibitions, at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest, the Museum of Recent Art in Bucharest, and within the Art Safari framework, as well as at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Lisbon and the Ancien Musée de Peinture in Grenoble.

 

Painter, sculptor, visual artist, muralist, Pandele brings to all the works he conceives a new visual language that combines classical painting with 3D modelling, meticulous drawing with subtle irony, and a profoundly contemporary way of thinking about image and world. (...)
